EPA NSW Bin Trim Equipment Rebates Program
Biofeed eligible for Bin Trim Rebates
Up to $50,000 rebates for outright purchases!
Great news!
Biofeed qualifies for the NSW Bin Trim Rebates Program when installed at eligible SME customer sites
EPA NSW is offering a new $6 million rebate program over the next three years to help businesses reduce waste, increase recycling, and improve their bottom line
To access the rebate, the end user must complete a Bin Trim waste assessment prior to installation, with the application managed by a registered Bin Trim Assessor.
Eligibility criteria:
- Installed at a Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) with fewer than 200 employees
- Business undergoes a Bin Trim waste assessment
- Biofeed diverts food waste from landfill
- Application submitted via a registered Bin Trim Assessor
How it works under a Cross-Hire Model:
- Customer completes the Bin Trim assessment and applies for the rebate
- You lease the Biofeed system from Biofeed Pty Ltd and on-charge your customer
- The Biofeed unit is installed at the customer’s SME site
Important notes:
- Rebates must be claimed by the end-user customer
- Supports cost-sharing models, helping accelerate adoption
- Well-suited for retail, hospitality, and food service businesses
